Comments: I have always gotten through the winter on all-season tires, but after last year I thought it was time to switch to winter tires on a 2WD Toyota Tundra truck located in Maine. The difference in handling has been nothing short of amazing after installing Michelin X-Ice Xi2 tires. Dry road comfort and performance are excellent; you would never know snow tires were installed. The tires are very quiet, smooth, and fuel efficiency during a long trip was better than I ever observed on my regular tires. On snow and ice, of which we have had plenty this season, the truck drives superbly. Traction is excellent and braking performance is strong and consistent. We drove to Boston and back during icy and snowy weather and the truck always felt planted to the road. Something that could not be said for at least a dozen four wheel drive vehicles we observed that had lost control and were off the road. I feel stupid for waiting so long to make the winter tire conversion, but extremely pleased that I

Comments: So far so good. I have yet to try them in very deep snow but I was amazed at the traction especially on hard pack snow and on ice. This is my second MDX and I have been through 5 sets of "all season " tires. ( all different ) I'm a "spirited" driver and very demanding of my tires. I was really worried about noise and handling because, let's face it, other than the snowy year in winter 2015 its 98% dry roads while driving to ski and work and 2% snow and ice. But, no need to worry! The tires are as quiet as the Michelin Latitude all season and handle much better than expected for snow tires. Hopefully I will get a few seasons out of them.
